Pudina, Tankashaal Mint belongs to the genus Mentha is native to North America, South Africa and Australia. It has long added its bright flavour and scent to drinks and dishes. The fresh and dried leaves of mint are used as an ingredient while the extracted essential oil is used as a flavouring agent. It is expansively used to make candies and gums as well.
